NBL23-24 Uniform

REGULAR SEASON

Building off the legacy built from the Sydney Kings back-to-back championships, the Home & Away uniforms sought to keep the spirit of the past 2 seasons while incorporating the Indigenous strip from artist Stew James.

INdigenous Round

The Kings 23-24 Indigenous Uniform was a collaboration between myself and Indigenous artist Stew James. In 2021, the Kings commisioned Stew to create an artwork that represents the club and its history - that artwork has been used as inspiration for every NBL Indigenous round since. After 2 years of the same formula, we wanted to create a fresh take on that same artwork. It became the best selling Indigenous round uniform in the league and for the Kings.

PINK Round

The Sydney Kings hosted its first annual Pink Hoops double-header round with the Sydney Flames, raising funds for the McGrath Foundation. For this round, both teams had their uniforms recoloured to the McGrath foundation’s pink.

After such a positive response to the uniforms from fans and the organisation, they were played in multiple times throughout the season. The pink jerseys were another NBL top-seller for the year.
